I'm in the same boat, also competitive prices would be nice.

Oh the Crosshair V looks sweet! So does the UD7 from Gigabyte though.

Im really hoping That putting a Bulldozer chip into my Crosshair IV doesn't take away any useful performance in the gaming area. However, Id still only do it temporarily, because Ill DEF be getting that Crosshair V right away.. An AMD cpu, with the option of SLI. Yeahhhhh! Options baby, options.

Been putting money away for a bulldozer rig for a few months now.. I hope when we see the benchmarks I start foamin at the mouth to own one of these!

the fact that nv licensed amd boards means a number of things..first,they of course need the extra cash..and secondly, which matters for us,the cpus should
pack a good punch.

Good point there. Hopefully its true. I was really considering building an i5 rig when I saw the performance of it, but I figured, might as well wait to see what BD has to offer. I hope that was a smart move(Though its not like I couldn't build a SB rig now anyways.. just sayin)

saw bd in action, trouble is it was a low clocked es or whatever pre release.

guy next to me was bitching and moaning, but then he saw the ghz,and shut up lol.

not sure if increase in clock speed will be as direct of an impact on performance as it usually is...more or less.

makes no sence why ncix would put up pre-orders for the gigabyte 990fx ud5 board IF the cpu's where not available to far behind them.

& FYI Q3 starts July 1st.

The motherboard makers also stated that, although their solutions are ready for launch, engineers still don't have access to production Bulldozer processors and have to rely on scaled-down and locked engineering samples and on older Phenom II CPUs to test their boards
