iPhone 5 in February 2011

iphone 5 = iphone 4 + antennae redesign + much delayed white shell...?

My suspicions. Either way, I was contemplating upgrading my phone and renewing my plan next month, but methinks I'll hold off just in case rumours have any merit.

And Tristan the iPhone 4 does not need fixing. I have not had any issues with it.

Iphone 3g/3gs are super easy to fix.
Iphone 4 is still cheaper to go through Apple.
Ipad don't bother its stupid expensive and labor intensive to do.

I could see the white iPhone 4 being released in February. Or possibly a Verizon iPhone.

Although there are some rumors of the iPhone 5 releasing early.

Also IMO the iPhone 4 doesn't need fixing cause nothing is broken. And it is NOT the 4g.

Maybe it's simply a CDMA iPhone 4. That would be more probable than a new model.

I'm curious if they're going to change the design of the current iPhones. It looks pretty nice as it is but still, not worth $700 in my books.

I doubt it will be a new phone. A phone will all issues corrected, maybe. But an entire model I dont know. The past 3 iphone releases has been during the summer, I dont see why they would deviate from this :S.

I'm really hoping the rumors are true.

I've busted the glass on my 3gs twice now, and replaced the glass myself both times. Everything on the phone works fine, except for the earpiece. I replaced it with a new speaker, but still no go. Either the cable or mobo is damaged :( I have to take all my calls on speakerphone, or BT in my truck lol. I'm gonna try a new cable first, but if that doesn't do it, it's either pay $229 to have bell replace this one, or hopefully get a new iphone 5 for $300ish with a 3 year sign up....

What we're seeing in February is iPhone 4 for Verizon.

I can pretty much guarantee that there will be no iPhone 5 in Feb.. I work for Bell and we are FINALLY getting word from Apple that stock on the iPhone 4 is going to be stable by the end of January. What you will see like others stated is the CDMA version of the iPhone released on Verizon. However there have been both rumors the CDMA will be an iPhone 4 and just as many rumors saying it is a CDMA version of the iPhone 3gs (Which wouldn't surprise me with Apple). As far as new iPad goes the order dates have already been sent to the warehouse for ready-to-ship deadlines (Which right now is supposed to be end of Feb) Which would have Apple ready to lease around April (Same time they released the iPad last year.)

I can't see the iphone 5 coming that quick. Maybe a rev of Iphone 4 with the antenna problem solved.
