Is there going to be a new Quadcore like 'PhenomIII X4' to wait for or is it just 6-8 cores coming out?

It should start out as "Here take a case of salt..." This seems like the filmar claims Nvidia was bragging about before Fermi was released. Out of this world performance. Well, The performance wasn't no where as good as what they were saying. Have to wait and wait. Anyone know what month this super quick BD will be released?
