It isn't "new" per se.

You will see a review here on HWC.

One of the main things we all have to remember is that Bulldozer IS NOT ready. What AMD is focusing upon right now is sharpening their lineup in an effort to somehow head off Intel's Sandy Bridge architecture. This means additional speed bins and the lowering of some prices. Nothing more.
I was hope full but have to agree nothing new to see right now.

I am wondering though if AMD will produce "crippled" BD's for the AM3 socket, similar but not the same as when the X3's came out (Not meaning unlocking).

So, in this video, we're probably looking an AMD 975 which has a 100MHz boost over the 970?

Not that there's anything bad about that, I guess.

If it's just a rebinned chip, the big question to ask is if there's any difference in headroom. Won't make a hell of a lot of difference to most of the folks here if it still tops out at the same upper end.

Pity.... I was hoping that somebody was going to pull a rabbit out of their hat for Christmas / Q1 2011.

What do you guys think the possibility is of a 32nm Phenom II part to test the waters in preparation of their next gen 32nm parts. I could see it in the realms of possibility for tiding the time until Bulldozer high-end parts come out, especially because they are already using 32nm Phenom II cores in Zacate(was it this?)

The 32nm idea is probably more likely, but i liked my "dreamer" idea best... dammit. lol

Might just be the 1100T....
Anyway, AMD has the potential to impress (with their new architecture), so I hope they don't miss the boat this time around.
I'm ready for A64 POWA REVISITED...

I so hoped they would come with 12 cores, or something in the like. Would have been nice. And would have made some competition for Intel. But I guess not this time aroung again.
