Default Rumor of GTX 570 and GTX 560 on its way

Rumors of NVIDIA to release GeForce GTX 570 by the end of the year and the GTX 560 shortly to follow.

HEXUS.net - News :: NVIDIA to release GeForce GTX 570 and GTX 560 soon? : Page - 1/1

Summary.

GTX 570 rumored to be on par with GTX 480 but with reduced heat and power consumption.

GTX 560 rumored to be the replacement to GTX 460 but will be released at a later date pending on the current market. (GTX 460 still selling well)

Decisions, decisions.

I've been looking to replace my withering 8800GTS 512 for quite a while now and this sort of news just makes my day. If the speculated GTX 570 performs better than a 470 with reduced power consumption AND runs cooler? This will definitely be a weiner :P ....atleast for me haha. I'm just hoping the release of the 69XX series drives the price of these puppies down.

GTX560 to be a simple rename i bet!

on a serious note, hopefully it isn't and it gets respinned or something giving it another nice speed bump and again lowering temps. wishful thinking much?

Call EVGA, they may extend your step-up for a limited time.

I've seen on other forums where EVGA extended their step-up to people in the same situation as yours.

Try it, you got nothing to lose.
