Default HTC Desire HD

You can read about it on this link HTC - Products - HTC Desire HD - Overview

I think it's coming out this month in Europe and the U.S. but I don't know when it's coming to Canada.

As with most new phones:

- Too big

- Too heavy

- Too thick

Thick? I don't think it's that thick. Thinner than my crusty Sony Ericsson (around 18mm) actually. It's definitely on the large side though, much like the EVO 4G and other phones with 4.3" screens. Obviously not for everyone, but some like the larger screens, or those who always have large pockets.

I want the Desire Z personally. Seems to have the right blend of features in a fairly typical smartphone size. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to arrive in Canada though...

10mm is optimal. Their 11.8mm doesn't include the bulge at the top of the phone.

Yes, I personally prefer the bigger screen, but then again, it always comes down to personal preference. It is probably heavier than other smart phones (even other Android phones too) but its 1 GHZ processor and 768 MB memory are good reasons for it to be pretty heavy. Thickness-wise, maybe I am mistaken, but isn't it around the same thickness as the iPhone which isn't too thick itself?

Wow, It took them this long to make an HTC EVO version.

I still want one. I highly doubt they make a NA gsm friendly version. When they announced that earlier this month, it was only for the Europe bands.
