Not if those leaked charts are true - they're moving to 4-part shaders from 5, which could be a pretty significant deal for getting more muscle out of a limited die area. Makes you pretty hopeful for what Cayman could offer.

looks like ill finally be able to get rid of my old 8800gt! amd looks to be getting my money, nvidia would have to have a big ace up their sleeve.

full gf104 will mean 10% added performance, so its like regular gf104 but without mad oc'ing to get close to 5850 levels. good nonetheless.

It all depends on how you use your card. If you run games at 2560x1600 8xAA 8xAF you may be asking when the hardware will catch up to the games.

True.. and with multi-monitor display of about 5760x1080 or even more, there's very few setup capable of crushing games with full aa/af. Let alone 3D...

I remain skeptical till release. Seems like every release is going to be the card to rule them all but then it turns out to be not anywhere close to that.(except from the 7000 series to 8000 series).
