K- Overclocking oriented, I'dd say unlocked multiplier but with the recent leaks concerning a difficult overclock of these CPU's, I won't... -.-
S- The usual low power CPU
T- Ultra low power consumption

Nothing to take for cash, but this looks like something possible.

Should be interesting. Depends on the price though and if clock-for-clock it's significantly better than my current i7 @ 4.2GHz. Otherwise, it'll be a pass.

god, what I wouldnt give to get one of those T models (2390 or 2500) and OC the crap out of it.

I love technology. Every 18 months we drool over new CPU tech, and in between those 18 months we drool over GPU tech. Life is GOOD!

I believe Sandy Bridge won't be as much of an upgrade as core 2 quad -->*core I7.

On the same website, -pcworld.fr- there is similar roadmap but for SSD's. *

Unless you feel you're lacking CPU power, you should still pass on LGA1155 Sandy Bridge and wait for the higher-end LGA2011 SB platform

Like the upcoming gpus, I'll wait for the next significant performance increase b4 making a switch. Especially if it's Intel, where making the switch can cause a fat wallet to suddenly be empty of any funds.

I was already thinking that...

I don't see the point in buying ANOTHER quad-core CPU. Already had a Core 2 Quad (X3350), and now the i7 920. Next CPU has to be at least 6-core, maybe 8-core.

Although LGA1155 does look interesting, I'm still considering getting a LGA1366 cpu/mobo even though still on the more expensive side, it's not totally unreasonable. LGA2011 is intriguing but it feels like its too far off for now. I feel like staying with a LGA1366 cpu should last for several years since I don't have the need to have the latest and greatest all the time. Also hopefully Intel introduces some nice LGA1366 socket cpu's before switching over to LGA2011.
