My God, these idiots don't even know how the architecture scales.

32 CUDA cores per SM
4 texture units per SP

4 SMs per GPC = 128 cores + 16 TMUs


THEREFORE, IN ORDER TO HAVE 256 CORES YOU NEED 32 TMUs!!!!!

512 cores = 64 TMU

This is why the GTX 480 with 480 cores has 60 TMUs.


Sorry, this BS just frustrates me.

Yeah, but remember sites like that just want to take advantage of ignorance amongst the masses and get site hits for advertising revenue. This is the bane of site's like HWC which only post honest to goodness facts.
