On A Cooler there is no way in hell that would be practical as the air wouldn't even actively flow over the fins for the enitre length. Thats gotta be a sticker.

Just to make sure ST, I know the air of the blower is exhaust at the back. it what I said in my first post.

but :

what if the fins at end of the heat pipe are also connected to a plate cooler ( the one you said it's a sticker ) so the air from the blower will pass betwen the board and the plate true the fins ..

I hope it's ok to try to guess this at least

looks like a blower, must be blind lol.

interesting to see 1 vs 2 blowers on large cards. i mean, yup, you loose heatsink material(need space for second blower, but gain cfm/maybe better acoustics? 2 fans add up, but at 50% vs 1 at 80% theyre probably quieter, and of course redundant if one bites the dust or something sticks in there and locks it up :)

ps put a link from where you got them maite

I highly doubt thats the case , there is no intelligent way to attach Fins and Heatpipes to a then Solid Plate for cooling, it would be really bad play. I vote sticker.

I know ST. it will be technically hard to build.. you probably right for a sticker. but since we speculate so much on that Fermi..... at least this speculation is constuctive
