Asus Rampage III Extreme - News? [EXP]
 

The Asus Rampage III Extreme looks like it will be a beast, But I know hardly anything about it besides from what the pictures show.

So I was hoping it would be okay to open a discussion thread here for rumors people have heard about "Release Dates", Pricing & anything else cool about this board.

I have heard it will be released in March but only from a few people so I don't really trust this prediction, Does anyone know if Asus has confirmed a release date yet?

too late :angry2: I order a EVGA ( the Rampage III was my first choice )

I don't know why anyone not into extreme overclocking would think of ordering this board. It will be quite obviously priced above $300 and likely won't provide any extra performance for those of you on air or water cooling. The Phase and LN2 guys will however probably see some benefits with some upcoming Intel chips.

Because it's beautiful, but the Maximus III Extreme is even more beautiful

Don't get me started on the subject of $300+ 1156 boards, it won't be pretty.
