I'm waiting till 22nm hits mainstream, that should be about the same time my wife lets me do some upgrading.

Let me Google that for you.

Seems logical that they'd keep LGA 1366, if simply because there's enough pins to last (like 775 lasting from P4 all the way to Core 2 Quad).

"Sandy Bridge" is just a bad name though. Doesn't matter what it does. It sounds like some kind of a bridge, that's sandy.

It's a code name; it doesn't have to sound good. Obviously the product name when it's released will be something different.
