Hoax: NVIDIA GTX 300 Series Performance Slides

It appears almost unquestionable now that the images posted of GTX 300 Series/Fermi were indeed fakes.


Taking into account that most NVIDIA PR Slides post performance only as PERCENTAGE improvements rather than showing actual frames. And the slides were posted on one forum by a user named "succesfull troll"

(Also when was the last time you saw leaked slides or pictures in English and not in an Asain language )

Also from what I read, most of the results for the 4 other cards were pulled from GPU charts found around the web


Here are the slides - Which are in all likelyhood fakes. To be fair, I could not find any 100% credible or definitive proof either way. But there are dozens of pages on every forum discussing it and there is no way to go through them all.

Everyday I wake up and rush to the screen to check the NEWS & REVIEWS section in hopes of seeing any mentioning of Fermi. Oh well, a hoax is better than nothing. At least I had a chance to appreciate the imaginary specs.

By the way, haven't they changed the naming? I think it's not the GTX 300, but GF100.

I Think he misspelled Call of Duty: WaW - To me it looks like he typed in W"o"W But I can not enlarge the image for some reason I don't have permission when I tried clicking on it, So I did my best with Ctrl + But Maybe my eyes are just not working right today.

I think anyone could have called this as a fake after taking a few seconds to examine the "slides" properly. These just look like they were thrown together in a few minutes with Excel and a bit of Photoshop.
