GT300's possibly delayed further [SA]

Just saw this, things are not looking good for nvidia...

SemiAccurate :: Nvidia GT300 yields are under 2%

Guess I will hang onto my 275's.....

Phobia September 15, 2009 08:56 PM

ouch, if thats true. Its good for AMD though.. the 5xxx series will not have any new competition for a little while...

I wouldn't put too much stock in what Charlie says. He's a huge AMD fanboy and most of his supposed "insider facts" are really just bullshit.

Perineum September 15, 2009 11:13 PM

He's definately a fanboi, nothing but ATI ads on his website and the "top 5 articles" are all bashing Nvidia.

How is that even remotely a "news" site.

Semi accurate is only good if you're lobbing 'nades or launching nuclear weapons.:haha:

What if I told you that certain parts of the media have been shown working GT300 samples? Say around the same time that Charlie says Nvidia was only expecting the FIRST run of silicon...

Wasn't meant to be. I am fed up with this ATI-sponsored BS.

Any different than Nvidia-sponsored BS :haha:.

Not a fan boy of either one, this is my first ATI card that I'm on all my previous cards were Nvidia. I'll buy which ever one has the best price to performance ratio, if Intel gets in the game and can do better then I'll buy there's too.

Most big companies (maybe all) unfortunately at some time employ some kind of underhanded tactics.
