Default 5870 benchmark
As expected, the GPU will feature support for DirectX11. Previous news showed that DirectX11 should surface in mid-2009 and that games based on it would hit the market in the third quarter of the next year. The new standard should mark visible changes in the market, and it will come for Vista as well as for Windows 7.

Interesting. Chiphell is usually quite good for this sort of thing but we will have to see what happens.

Okay clearly there is no GTX 295 896MB version.. they're all 1792 as shown in the chart.. so why does the top bar graph list it as 896MB?

Maybe they used 2x275's? They are essentially a 295 when you think about it.

Same here, even if simply to watch the prices drop and pick up an ATi GPU at a lower price, and without the "FIRSYT!!@@~11!!!" price gouging.

One thing I'm wondering is.. if it really does outpace the GTX295, that means that an 8x slot on a P55 is DEFINETLY going to handicap it. And big.
