Smile NEW VID CARD SERIES! (Finally)

Alright, this is a pretty reputable site and usually when they say something they have sufficient evidence to substantiate that the product WILL or will MOST LIKELY be released at the estimated time.
Anywho, apparently the new Radeon series (or just the 5870 X2) will be scheduled for release this September :) Might as well give my 4890 to my bro and start saving all over again :D

ATI's next generation of video cards expected around September - Neoseeker News Article

Oh theres also alot of rumoured specifications and other juiciness for you guys to go through. Enjoy (Y)

Says its pulled from an unsourced techpowerup post... Honestly I cant say this really shows anything other then jumbling up a bunch of rumors into 1 post. ATI has released NOTHING about the new cards and no one has any idea of what they will be, what their specs are, or what the price points will be. Sorry man but thats just not a great link, id say wait untill someone actually gets their hands on some viable sourced material preferably from ATI themselves before jumping on it and stating that there are set released dates ;) we can all speculate on release dates and specs but it doesnt mean we are anywhere close to reality.

Whether or not its real of faked, the numbers from the "leaked" chart (in german) no that page look possible at least. 40nm with higher clocks is possible, as is the full DX11 support, so I don't see it being that far off from the truth .

wether these are true or not i don't really care. All i care about is the resulting lowering in pricing of the current gen cards for CF :D
