My System Specs

Oh and GPGPU should actually be available on the current NVIDIA cards with the introduction of Direct X compute on win 7, it will probably be more effective on the new series though. And remember, the new series will offer performance enhancements all around, not just for direct X 11 games so playing crysis 1 with everything maxed at 60 frames is just as good as playing crysis 2 at 20 :P

BTW, read this new thread i posted Possibility of a new video card series (backed by AMD) . This time AMD has acknowledged that they will be demonstrating something on precisely September 10 and probably releasing it soon after. NVIDIA will typically do the same soon after :P

Sure we will be getting DX11 cards simultaneously to coincide with the launch of Windows 7 around October.. but TBH..to really experience DX11..software developers need to actually use this new engine to demonstrate its full potential. In other words, we will already have the hardware in place. Now its just a matter of time for the software to come right after.
R.I.P Ze Rig =(

Yes I do have a money tree growing in my backyard, but that doesn't change the fact im still plain cheap.
