I agree, Westmere looks like a solid CPU and pretty much my choice to upgrade to i7. Westmere, 6 cores, GPU integrated in the CPU.

Westmere sounds awesome. I'm still on the fence between jumping on the i7 wagon now or waiting for Westmere to see how much of an improvement it really is.

I'm guessing those are the american prices or you're buying them used since i don't think i've seen any of those listed that cheap in canadian funds

I'm on the fence between jumping on Westmere or waiting for 4ghz stock Sandy Bridge or 22 nm Haswell
Only couple years away.
