My System Specs

I'm guessing ATI and Nvidia will be able to pull off 4 GPU cards on air at ≤ 40nm.
For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

Probably not. They might if they use the same number of transistors, but performance increases when there's more transistors. It's much better to have more transistors on a single die than it is to place more GPUs together. It is way more cost effective in the long run.

lol!!!!! This would be a ridiculous waste of money... Like Bojangles said.... Also, in this case it would better just dump the money into research and development rather than make some mega ultra card lol

Probably just two 9800 GX2's, the real card however has rumored insane specs.

Ho-ly, I have lost all respect for people who resurrect the dead threads.

Jeez, I'm surprised at you guys initially for seemingly almost believing those pictures of the alleged GTX 390. If you look at the pictures you can easily tell that its shopped. For instance, the TV-out plug that has the aluminum shrouding was on the bottom of the top PCB and on the top of the bottom PCB. Obviously the guy took one of the PCB's, flipped it, then shopped a little ribbon cable to act as an SLI bridge.

Also, the renders are extremely high detail, I will give you that. But if you look closely you can obviously tell they are just CGI (probably done with like 3 or 4 Quadro FX5800's...whooo-eee)

Tape-out for Nvidia's upcomng cards was only done recently. As such, any "spy photo" shots within the next few months / weeks is completely fake.
