many places have said the same numbers for these prices so it looks like they should hold. and i can smell them now $300 CAD a Directcanada and even right now Intel is the better choice even if you don't oc as they beat AMD at stock and the prices are dirt cheap as is. but the AMD is still a strong chip for most applications.

I don't think that Intel is gonna kill Amd, for what I've know intel has stocks at amd and if amd will "die" no more competition, no more choises, no more low prices...so pray that this will not happen

I just realized that my board doesn't support quad core! I was looking forward to grabbing one when the price cuts hit. Oh well, conroe will have to do, I guess..

thanks for that tip Bab my on again off again build is on for sure now , got the mobo & vid card already , guess I'll waiting a couple weeks for a cp,pays to read HWC

Wonder if E6300, E6400, E6600, etc will drop too. You would think they will have to drop the price to the equivalent 1333 model or no one will buy.

I have a feeling we might have to wait until next week to see these new 1333fsb processors. I would be surprised if they released them now and then dropped the rest of the prices on the 22nd. You never know though.
