My System Specs

Question X2900XT preview?

If it's real then I'm disappointed.

"We used a couple of pretty-much regular settings - 4xAA/16xAF and 8xAA/16xAF, with three different resolutions, 1280x1024, 1920x1200 and 2560x1600. We figure this is gonna be more then enough to understand what kind of product this is and to pick your own card from NVIDIA it competes with. For starters, game tests only. So, take a deep breath and here we go."

I've heard some REALLY horrible stories about what ATI and Nvidia do to people who break the NDA. Personally, I'd be crapping my pants just thinking of breaking the thing.

Either that is fake or that guy just set himself up to never review another ATI/AMD product for as long as he lives. I believe that ATI and Nvidia have recently added monetary penalties to their NDA as well.

I think this might be real but the numbers are weird. Some games are better for the R600 and some are way better for 8800 GTX. So I don't know. Also how did he get all those R600's? The R600 (if this is legit) is better at 8 x AA.

That's what I'm saying....he might have fudged the numbers to sneek in under the NDA.

Yet another "Is this fake?" review thread.

Personally, i don't even bother reading it. (Actually i do...lol...Whatever...) But it just makes me ask myself "Should i wait and see what gives?" "Or should i just get a 8800GTX...?" I'm a bit tired of Crossfire ATM.

Well if you can wait a month until R600 is released then I would. Who knows maybe it is better and if it is not than Nvidea might do a price cut. So it is a win win scenario. I am looking for a 8800 gts but am waiting to see what happens.

All reviews should be basically ignored until these things are actually on the market.
