Rumours flying about XFX possibly switching to ati, as powerful as nvidia is youve really gotta wonder how much they can take. Nforce pretty much gone, another rambus lawsuit, now one of their top partners possible switching to ati? If they dont do something soon or EVERY rumour about nvidia turns out to be false, theyre really not looking too great at the moment.

I think nVidia will be fine.

They've still got a large portion of the market and they still have great tech.

Can't they just make cards for both companies like ASUS?

I think both ATI and Nvidia have too many AIB partners. Hopefully this downturn in the economy will weed out the bad ones. We, as the consumer, don't need the fly by night

personally, I think this is needed, ATI's partners need a real kick in their rear end when it comes to warranties and I think XFX could do it easily.

Absolutely, Asus has warranty, Gigabyte has warranty. My god, I was at Gigabyte's site two days ago. There was a (2008) bios update available for a 3 year old mobo:shok:

Are you complaining that Gigabyte still is support a boards bios 3 years down the road? Or am I miss reading something?

It's possible, we havn't seen ANYTHING from XFX since X58 and i7's came out, no news whatsoever.
