Default NEC MultiSync LCD3090WQXi 30-inch LCD Widescreen Monitor Review

The unbelievably fortunate guys over at Bit-Tech have posted a review of the (arguably) flawless NEC MultiSync LCD3090WQXi 30-inch LCD widescreen monitor:
"The NEC MultiSync LCD3090WQXi is an amazing screen that not only fits the bill for professionals, but will also appeal to those of us that want stunning image quality, a whole host of features and acres of desktop real estate. Of course, the price will undoubtedly put a lot of people off this screen, but I tell you, if I had £1,500 burning a hole in my pocket I know where I'd be spending it. Yes, it's expensive, but then so is a Ferrari F430 Scuderia – it's all about getting what you pay for.

And what you get for your money here is one of the best LCDs I've ever had on my desk. Going back to my Samsung SyncMaster 215TW—even though it's incredible—will be very hard indeed. There's nothing that will replace the sheer size of this display combined with the simply stunning image quality. I'm going to be a very sad man indeed."

But this is a professional-oriented product, so those two features are not prerequisites.

Just think of it as a sports car with no trunk, you overlook its flaws because it's the performance that counts

same. This is a fail because there are better monitors that are cheaper. Plus for 2000 bucks might as well buy a good T.V. Like the new Samsungs. They have 50000 : 1 contrast. 4ms response. Plus a bunch of connectors and stuff. That I would take any day.

For one of my assignments in my previous job I had to sit in front of a workstation with two large (24" IIRC) NEC monitors. They were incredible. It was like an eye massage compared to most of the other crap out there. If this monitor is as good I think it would be worth the price.
