It looks like Xfire is becoming a very viable alternatively to megabucks on a single card. I really hope the drivers can produce smooth gameplay though.

Its also good the guys who gambled on a phenom spider setup can now enjoy their investment.

The 4870 X2 promises to be a monster. I really, really don't want to buy new cards this year.

yeah that's what they said about the 3870x2 and what nvidia said about the 9800gx2. But what they say and what is reality is quite different.
