Default CoolIT Eliminator CPU Cooler Review by Legit Reviews

A cooling system with water cooling and TEC technology combined

"The Eliminator - Water Cooling and TEC Technology Combined
I've been writing computer hardware reviews full time for nearly five years now and at times it's tough to get excited about looking at new products. When it comes to CPU coolers there is only so much to say about a chunk of metal with cooling fins and a fan! Last week I had the pleasure of looking at the Vigor Monsoon II Lite Active TEC cooler and was excited to see that TEC coolers are starting to mature and finally starting to come down in price. With that review out the door, I was able to focus on another unique cooling product from CoolIT, the Eliminator CPU Cooler. I've recenlty written articles on CoolIT's USB Beverage Chiller and RAM Fan, which are both speciality cooling products that are aimed at a specific niche of consumers and the Eliminator is no different. Um... Doesn't look good to me. I prefer custom build Watercooling set-ups which are to be performing lot better. But for 199.99$ and for the ease of installation, that some novices might be looking for, this is probably a good product.

My 2 cents!

Might be good if you want a separate loop for the cpu- you could just hook up one of these.

Even there it wouldn't challenge a custom WC build. Have you ever tried custom WC builds ? I know you have some parts coming but you haven't told me what are they

Here's my order:

D-Tek custom fusion
swiftech mcw60 w. mosfet and ramsinks
swiftech MCP 655
swiftech MicroRes
HW labs black ice stealth 360 (3X120)
Danger Den NForce 680i chipset block
1/2 inch clearflex tubing and smartcoils

(what's all the empty space at the bottom of your sig?)

Yeah- it seems that those d-tek are kick-ass. Misoprostol did a comparison of cpu blocks and the d-tek performed the best.
This is my first H20 build

Yeah thats what i heard too! Looks like we'll both be testing the Fuzion lol

I have read a lot of reviews about it compared to lots of other blocks : http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...=Apogee+Fuzion

So far ive owned an Apogee, Storm Rev2 and going for the Fuzion!

PS: If i can help you out with anything during your watercooling set-up process, i'd be more than happy to do so. Have fun!
