PPU's: not intended for gaming?

Have you ever been confused about what the hell Ageia was really aiming for? I have, and ArsTechnica offers an interesting conspiracy theory which suggests that the gaming market is merely a slingshot wich will launch ppu's over the economy of scale wall and affordably into the HPC market which is their true goal and where they will finally find their niche. Quite a gamble, but it makes more sense than the Ageia card. All I know is that i feel dirty and used...oh wait..I didn't buy one!

"What if I told you that most of what the tech press thinks they know about Ageia and the PhysX PPU is completely wrong? What if I told you that there's more to PhysX than physics?
