Default Laser in CPUs?

Well this is good info and I have even thought of this myself. Why not use lasers instead of copper or what have you to send info back and forth. Now when this comes down in price think of having a mobo with laser lines from the cpu to the northbridge/south bridge and ram and gpu. Freaking amazing. Well apparently there are some proto types and they said that they could make cpus that are a 1000 times faster. Hope this is true and maybe real life graphics in games will be here sooner than we think.

Great news.....seems like there a lots of things in the works to leapfrog current chip constraints.....we really are getting closer to becoming robo-sapiens.
