My System Specs

Default Interlagos performance off to a slow start [AnandTech]

Anantech reviewed a pair of the new Opteron 6276's and compared it to a pair of Opteron 6174's, and a pair of Xeon X5650's.

Interestingly, CPU-Z is currently reporting the Interlagos chips as 8 core / 16 thread.

The good news is that it's not all bad news. And that's about as good as good news gets for AMD these days...

AnandTech - Bulldozer for Servers: Testing AMD's "Interlagos" Opteron 6200 Series

Yah, there were some nice high points for AMD, though not too many. I know that the article was server oriented, but it would have been nice to see some workstation ("budget server") set up (less modules, but higher base clock, i.e. Opteron 6220 vs E5630).

I completely disagree!

It was more like an 18" dildo.

I was hoping the release would lower the price of the 6100's... possibly not.
(im going for the 6128 but would have loved to go to a dual 12 core cpu)

*edit: 18".... Around.
