EVGA X79 Motherboard Series! - YouTube
Yea the Classy and FTW won't be out for another week or so, but the 3way SLI of there is available right now for $289
Lets see what quality and features are like these days since these are all designed by there new team.
I know their last series for SB wasn't a complete success like we are used to from EVGA.
evga makes some decent hardware.... just some things were flakey on prior releases,,,,ie wayyyy back :haha: 680i and memory chips.. and a few other things. hopeful that they work out the issues
The Board looks completely "cheap" to be brutally honest.....certainly nothing special!!! Only 6 SATA Ports?? No lifetime Warranty? Cheap looking passive cooling? HUH ?!
Just looking at the Rampage IV....way better looking Board imo!!
Newegg.ca - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!
yup the rampage is a better looking board... need a comparison review of em
Ho dear, now EVGA team might be running like fool after they saw RJ not happy with their product for the first time XD
I love my EVGA X58. One of the most reliable boards (very little quirks as they all do) but rock stable.
These days, I would honestly get a Intel branded board.
They look to compete with the big boys. Though they might not have as many OC' features you can bet your money they are built to just last.
^^^ Yeah I like my Classy X59 board as well, the thing has been rock solid since day 1....would have been nice if Evga would have provided us Classy 759 owners with a "free" PCIe x1 Power Boost Adapter....that was the only "quirk" I had with this Board was goofy/crazy Temperature spikes on the middle GPU when running Tri SLi.(only with 580's not with 280's)....seemed to be Power related.., running 2 Cards everything perfect.
