Hoping they are not priced way over the $260 mark other wise might as well get a GTX 570.
Now does that mean the GTX 560 & Ti's prices are going down. Hope so.
Nvidia been doing this since the 8800 came out.

I'm going to be getting a new vid card soon and curious to see where this falls in price wise. If its going to be around a 570 then might as well just buy the 570.

Hopefully it involves prices falling and this card sliding in where the 560Ti is now.

Hope springs eternal?

That's what should happen... but, maybe they'll just price it a bit more expensive than current cards? It probably depends how much demand there is for the current 560s and 560 Ti cards? Anyone know or have an idea of how much demand there is for those cards? How are they selling?

I'd definitely get a 560 or 560 Ti if one or the other can get in the range of $100 to $150. I know the 560 is an overclocked 460 but the power efficiency might be a bit better but knowing that, I don't want to spend much more than $100 for one. Also, if buying new, I prefer PNY (since EVGA charges too much, imho, for the lifetime warranty versions).

Why didn't they call this the 565 or something.

Not like there's a shortage of numbers out there.

Given what the 465 was, maybe they don't want to use the "65" suffix anymore. Brings back bad memories.

Haven't heard anything about this from any other sources. I wonder if it was misleading information? Anyone have further info?

Haven't seen it in channels nor heard much else on it either so no clue.

Not that I mind, there was nothing wrong with the Core 216 stuff of years past..

Anything for more performance is good for me.

This is to replace the old one. So the price will be the same.

Instead of dropping the price, lets just add more horsepower. Smart move.

I don't know how they can possibly make it stronger than a 560ti but weaker than a 570. When you consider a 560 ti can overclock past a gtx 570 and is a better overclocker in general, you have to imagine this card would just be a gtx 570 that they charge less money for.
