Grabbed 2 from NCIX, That helped a bit for anything recent that I might need in client builds.

Sucks, but I'd rather the people are better over there before worrying about HDD's.

Should I grab an SSD now? The new HDDs I was looking at will be bought, but I am unsure if SSDs will go up.

I couldn't even get my hands on a WD Caviar Black 500gb when I did my build, I had to move up to the 1tb.

Got a message today from supplier at job saying that we wont be able to order more than 5WD HDD at a time per 2 day until thing get better and to expect 3 to 4 month RMA. WHY ISN'T SEAGATE IN WATER!!!! WHY!!!!

dangit, I missed the ME sale last weekend (working out of town) and was gonna get a few at $75, missed the sale the week before that where they were $70. Maybe I'll just go with 3TB Hitachi's instead.

IF you can wait a couple weeks....I would. A little birdy told me that there will be a new beastly 3TB coming out next month(ish)....one that will assuredly kick major arse.
