Default OCZ Vertex 3 Pro Eng. Review [PcPer]

Interesting article on a engineering sample of the new Sandforce controller, saturation of sata 6 anyone ? Way out of the price range, but still interesting for things to come.

I have a question about "enterprise" drives; do some companies actually use SSDs in their computers? Every single business or organization I have been to always uses some generic Dell PC with a Pentium 4. Who gets to work at a place where they are rocking 1000 dollar SSDs?

Enterprise ssd drives are meant for server applications, and maybe CAD/animation shops where cost is usually no problem.

Certainly not currently intended for basic office workstations.
