All the staff here at Neoseeker stay up-to-date on current and upcoming PC hardware, but still I was taken back by the product that was delivered to our labs last week. In fact, I was completely unaware of its existence until an email appeared in my inbox with the technical details and highlights just a few days prior to it arriving. Before we get any further the product being described is the HD 4670 x2 Quad DVI. Thatís right, it is a dual GPU version of the popular, but long since retired ATI HD 4670.
Just stumbled across this interesting video card. Don't really see it selling at all, but supposedly it exists. A random read for anyone the feels like it.

Cheers

Good way for visiontek to pass old remaining GPU in a cheap multi monitor solution.

Yeah but I don't think BB will carry this, as its a niche product and might not make it to mainstream e-tailers and retailers for us.

My thought at least. For what it does though, its cool.

I find it funny how dumbed down the "next gen" cards are 3-6 months after there replaced by the new generation of cards..

I'm not sure it's the best solution to do the job, but at least it's interesting...

It would've been nice to see the HD5770 card in the charts...

Quote from said article...sums up pretty well.

Ultimately I am not convinced it was the best means to add multiple monitor support, when taking into account there are other graphics cards on the market such as PowerColor HD 5770 Eyefinity 5 edition, which can support up to five monitors, is cheaper, more powerful and comes packed with all the latest technologies. Additionally, the Eyefinity 5 graphics card can support 3D applications across multiple monitors using Eyefinity, which is something the Visiontek HD 4670 x2 cannot do.

IIRC these dual GPU/2gb cards don't work too well with games that have crazy view distance.
