Hi,

I found this, not sure if it's to be taken seriously, but there it is...

You always have a very supportive "little something" to add....lol

Well, the 875K seems to performs pretty close to the 2600K...turbo boosts 2.0 gives you 5 extra fps in those games...nice, but nothing like a good OC could achieve...

So Sandy + 1155, really worth the wait compared to 875K ???? The difference is perf. is nice in sTARCRAFT, but for other games, it's not really worth it....

I'm sure a lot of people are waiting for those reviews, for different reasons, but mostly to see if it's worth the upgrade from their existing platforms...

From the little I have gathered over at XS these things are going to be beasts. Some people are hitting 4.8 Ghz with the 2500K on 1.1V on AIR! The 2600K is hitting 4.9-5 Ghz on air with low volts. From what I saw clock for clock the 2600K is slightly faster than the current 4 core I7 1366 chips.

well yes, more performance per clock where it can be made, and as per above good oc ability, only on the k chips unless our beloved giga and the like decide to shove it to intel for the poor man to overclock as well.

wow 5ghz on air i have not read much about it cause i was going to pass it by but DAMN. VVV which i do i mean i have 3 pc's right now not doing anything all i7's or i3's just waiting for parts and me to torture

If they can get 5Ghz on air, unless you OC there is no real benefit on a new socket...Unless you oc a lot...

im really curious what 8 threads at that speed can do with wu's :)

might bring back the single box solutions for us folders, like way back with the cheap celly d's

Damn. At least another year of AMD getting slaughtered on the CPU front? I'm still hoping for a glorious return, though!
