Actually the upgrade it just got supposedly made it the fastest in the world.

Chinese government hates CUDA, it's foreign and proprietary, just like Windows. They're actually using OpenCL with 4870's. It's the same reason they use Linux, it may be foreign, but they can make it their own.

The "supercomputer" is really just a giant cluster of Xeon E5450/E5540's with a ton of 4870's running the Chinese government's own Linux distro. So unfortunately Crysis wouldn't run on it.
