^^^^ Ever since the 6800GT many years ago...the highest end single GPU solutions have always been $450 - $500.....this will likely be no different.....stick to a 5850 / 460 if your looking for something cheap.

A Moderator should really "blend" these two 580 Threads (or close one of em)...same stuff in both....

Not the 8800 Ultra...
The EVGA e-GeForce 8800 Ultra Superclocked has a recommended retail price of $899.99 in United States and 899 in Europe

^^^ That was an exception as was the 9800 GX2.....I stayed away from the 8800 Ulta and went with the 8800 GTX and of course didn't go anywhere near the GX2.

btw...regardless of the MSP you found, the 8800 Ultra was available for around $700...about $150 less then what I paid for the 8800 GTX at the time.

Benchmarks at this link.

Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 Detailed, Specs Revealed too.

My original post got deleted.

Thought it was thread worthy since these are the first benchmarks to appear, unless someone can link me to benchmarks elsewhere.

Your Thread was deleted because we don't need a different / new Thread every-time someone finds another Web site with yet more "leaked crap".....in other words keep the Posts under the same umbrella....

Generally most of us here could care less of any Benchmark results until the Card has actually been released...whats the point...

^^^^ Absolutely, at least with re: to the 580 until the Official release when info can be taken without a grain of salt.....sounds like it may release as early as next week....

Hell I got my 460 1GB and as much as I wish I had waited a little longer due to the current price drops, I will not get excited about the 580 until it is officially out and I have read a review from a site I trust, like here.
