I have to say, after reading SKYMTL's review of the XFX version of this card, that the performance is fairly impressive.

It makes me anticipate great things for the GTX equivalents when they come out (hopefully still within my step-up period!)

bah like comparing the G80 GTX with G80 Ultra, %10 increase for $100. from the Gt to GTS. At least this time it starts at $100 unlike the 8800 Ultra which was $999. Me have a big feeling Hd 3870 X2 can beat this card since crossfire scales well and it will be at the $400 price range. Of course the GTX revision, seeing how the new core is the GTX revisions should wipe everything out.

Ugh.... with all these great new cards coming out. Was it even worth me getting the 2900pro from NCIX??? :/ I should have wanted a month. Never expected every single one to be above expectations XD

I've got one of these ordered and coming in soon. I've been wanting to finally get a legit copy of Company of Heroes to play online anyway, so technically this thing's really only costing me about $300.

With an overclock from 650 to 820, this thing almost hits 16K in 3DMark06! That's pretty impressive IMO.
