I completed the review for a next CPU cooler Thermaltake Frio, where is guaranteed cooling power of 220W.
The review include average temperature test on 75W, 147W and NEW 220W heat medium, avarage temperature resistance and temperature test in passive mode. The results are in NEW interactive charts.
I know about the review... I've been looking at reviews for a week now... frostytech, HC, etc...
just can't make up my mind on it. Most reviews show the NF-U12H's big brother, the P version, as this review shows.
I was looking for someone's opinion on the matter.
I have it on my 920 and it performs quite well, going WC soon though so I'll be selling it. It averages about 6C better than my 212+ did. Fairly quiet until ~1800rpm.
Frio comes with 2 fairly noisy 2500 rpm fans. Noctua NH-D14 comes with 2 not so great 1300 rpm fans. The Noctua fans are nothing special and I for one think they're overpriced cr@p. 220W is aprox. what you get from a 920 at around 1.4v under Linx and with HT on.
