Default pure passive cooling

well i thought i would post this because there always someone asking can it be done. 100% passively cooled system enclosure by MetkuMods - Because you love your hardware!

Zalman has built a few all passive chassis and power supplies as well.

Yeah but now a real and a good case manufacturer sould take a look at one! that would be damn nice for HTPC

I think someone was talking about doing it last year but never happened i could be wrong it happen all the time me being wrong
( unless it's physics/tattoo/piercing i am never 100% )

Considering where most people put their HTPC, I doubt we'll see anyone take that chance. Most people put them inside a stand orcase with no regard for airflow. Sure guys like us know better, but 90% of the regular user world don't know or care.

so true i had a client ask me yesterday do i really need a fan at all

edit you would think the name "heatsink" would give away what it does but most don't get it at all.

There are plenty of passive cooled computers in the world. Though it can only be like less than 400 watts at the max. So you can build a gaming machine out of it.
