lol@rebranding AGAIN. Yay for 88xx series refresh...what 5 years later now?

I like Nvidia a lot, but they seem to be getting desperate :( This was a bit of a let down, IMO.

They need a solid release sometime in the following couple months.

From what I have gathered Nvidia is not far off from actually releasing hard parts. It's just a matter if supply can meet demand. But I still stand by pricing that is going to be redonkulously humongeous.

As far as I know (reading Asus Notebook Forums) this new Mobile GPU has nothing significant to offer over the 260 or 280M Mobile GPU's. It may run at somewhat lower Temps, but not sure.
My 260M Card seems to Max out under gaming at 93c, idles around 65c.

Guarenteed thier are a bunch of Notebook enthusiasts jumping all over the new G51jx A1 with the new GTS 360M.....

"These new products all have 40nm graphics chips with support for DirectX 10.1"

Fail.

I wouldn't necessarily say "fail"..!? You prepared to drop 1.5k to 2k on a Notebook? My G51J with a 260M Card presently runs any game out thier on the Market with Med to High settings @ 1920 x 1080 Res......I ceetainly wouldn't call that performance a "fail".....

I say fail, because if you buy a "spanking new" 300m-based GPU, you're getting a 200m GPU on a smaller node. And we all know the story of the 200m series..

Seriously, what the hell is with the rebadging?
