DFI P35 was indeed a cracking motherboard. DFI never managed to get to grips with DDR3 very well for overclocking on the FSB platforms though. The skew tables over 1600Mhz had to be set manually by board vendors and this seemed to cause DFI quite a few problems. i5/i7 IMC is completely automated for this, so takes a lot of the work away from the vendors.
