haha ya I saw someone posted this on NCIX. I mean the website is called semi-accurate, and even the last thing he says is that Jen-Hsun's over-paid @ $1/hr. Gimme a break! And if anybody believes Nvidia would just suddenly go bankrupt and shut down their factories is just plain stupid.

I wish nVidia would die. They make over-priced video cards which they've been selling at a loss for over a year now. Plus, more than half the products they make are re-brands dating back years and years. nVidia needs major house-cleaning, starting with that ugly bastard:

Makes me sick just to look at him.

Calm down a bit. In Nvidia's defense, they haven't really had a rename in a long time. 9800GTX->9800GTX+->GTS250 all had changes. The last thing they "rebranded" was possibly a mobile chip or something in the GT1xx line. ATI renames cards too. If the GTS 250 was a rebrand then the 4890 is a rebrand. And their prices are as low as they can go, they are selling the GTX2xx series at a tad over a loss. They can't lower them anymore without losing money. They did make an expensive card but they dropped it as much as they can be expected to.

Hold on... 8800gts 512mb, 9800gtx, 9800gtx+, gts250 were all the SAME card, on the SAME core (g92)... = Rebrand.

The 4890 is NOT a rebrand... it is a modified rv770xt that uses 3 million additional transistors and improved voltage regulation on die... = NOT a rebrand

I would have expected something like this on [H] or on XS, but not on HWC.
