I think it comes down to that p35 is just a lot of hype and consumers will buy into it. The 965 chipset and 680i chipset are still both very strong chipsets that work very well and don't see any one of them fading away anytime soon.

Yeah but will they support DDR3 sometime soon ? Will they support Intel's Penryl ?

DDR3 I don't know about that but the p5b series I know will support the 45nm processors and I'm 99.9% sure the 680i will as well.

Right now theres no reason for DDR3 and probably won't be for at least another 6months to a year and by that time I'm sure nvidia will announce is new board.

Yeah i seen that on Asus website. The list of boards that will support Intel Penryl. Anyway, we'll see what future has to tell.
