12g 3x4 kit upgrade time

with the prices getting pretty cheap I am looking to upgrading my 6g 3x2 mushkin 1600 redline with a new set. So wondering if anyone got opinions on a set that overclock well.

I am looking at these http://images17.newegg.com/is/image/...222-TS?$S125W$

Mushkin Enhanced Radioactive 12GB

just curious if anyone knows of a better set.

If overclocking is your goal, I would look at a sku from GSkill or Corsair. Mushkin sticks don't seem to OC that far from my experience (blackline, silverline owner). GSkills on the other hand are very good for OC'ing and can be had for a very reasonable price. I got my gskill trident ddr3-1600 cas8 kit up to 2000 mhz, 7-9-7-23 timings a while back.

any of these two gskill 1.5V kits here would be ok (not 1.25V).

Something like these corsair dominators would be decent i would think.

The problem with corsair is that they charge a lot of money for their high binned ram kits.

Never used GSkill, I will try a kit of the 1600 ripjaws thanks for the heads up

I've used nine 4gb sticks (in 3x4gb configuration on a sr2 and x58a-ud3r) of samsung ddr3-1600 with great success. All of them ran over 2100 with less that 1,55v. In short, you'll reach the limit of your imc before they quit. And for the price, you simply cannot get better ram.

yeah those seem to be pretty sweet ram. My only concern is that it will not fit my water cooling block due to the low profile nature of the ram. any thoughts
