wich 16gb ram should i buy can you recomendate good 16gb rams becouse i read forum about corsair vegavence they said the one slot died after 1 month the other in two weeks ,so i need good quality rams |
Corsair is a great brand. There's usually a small percentage of bad samples with any product. If you need 16GB RAM, then you'll be fine with the cheapest major brand 2x8GB DDR3-1600 kit you can find. I've seen some sales recently for Corsair and G.Skill kits as low as $90. If your primary use will be gaming and/or you want crazy overclocking ability, then grab one or two sets of this Samsung 1.35V RAM. |
g.skill |
I fully endorse g.skill. never evenhad the slightest issue. |
gskill ripjaws or mushkin blacklines/redlines. Avoid OCZ like the plague. |
I dont really think OCZ is producing this type of memory any longer. I have also had good experiences with Corsair and Patriot. |
always thought of G.SKILL as a aesthetically pleasing - budget ram company, but they've really come into their own. never had a problem with them. get the G.SKILL. would help if you could post in which capacity are you looking to get the 16GB in, 2 x 8 or 4 x 4? and 1333 or 1600+? |
redline ; wow from reading those reviews I might have to try that and I never even thought of them always thought of them as just lower basic ram compared to gskill/corsair perhaps I'm mistaken! For the record though to the OP : I've always had great luck with corsair or gskill pretty much are the only 2 I ever use! I've got kingston higher end stuff a few times but usually sell quite quickly! |
I'm a fan of the G.Skill Sniper stuff, but mostly because it looks awesome. |
i only buy gskills now quality n price:punk: + they dont bin tight like others #2 mushkin:thumb: no corsair overpriced crap that i gotta pray i get a good revision |
