where can I find a mem speed test for free

after installing my H100 onto my i7 920 (@ 3.8GHz for now) I want to break the 4GHz barrier and punch the face of god, as it were. now my RAM (12 GB of gskill snipers) was rated at 2100 but ofc fiddling with the timings I found that it's actually better set at 1866 (or so, I forget exactly) with tighter timings. this was some time ago and I don't remember what mem test app I used. I googled for a couple of hours for a free mem speed app but really found nothing. pass mark test tells me it already passed its trial period (apparently I used it before). BLAST! victory shall be mine!:punk:can anyone direct me to some sort of app I can use, at least temporarily?

Are you looking for a memory stress test?

IIRC Memtest86 is the latest and greatest, but I might have the name wrong. (they'll sell you a CD if you wish, but still have an ISO download available for free).

As far as websites go for getting virus checked freeware/shareware apps from, I've been using majorgeeks for as long as I can remember.

MaxxMEM2 (free)

AIDA64 (30-day trial)

Sisoft Sandra Lite (free/evaluation)
