Default RAM Reviews to do with current components

I was hunting around and couldn't find anyone who has done reviews with multiple new platforms and ram from ultra low end 1066 all the way up to 2000+
Is this something worth while to people if someone got a bunch of AM3+/FM1/Z77/Z68/LGA2011 systems and tested them to show the differences in performance to high end ram to low end? as well as tested real life scenarios with comparison on high end and mid rang systems with different levels of HDD's/SSD's 5200RPM-10k and High end SSD's to low end?

I have an abundance of contacts and gear anyone who has dealt with me knows this, I want to offer something to the forum and community that is not currently out there.

The current forum reviewers are the best of the best and that's why I want to offer something different that both helps the first time buyer to the hardcore pros.

Would anyone find this useful?

I think it would be a wasted effort, in my opinion. RAM doesn't seem to effect much besides benchmarking. Everyday stuff seems to not matter, whether it's 1333 @7-7-7 or 1600@9-9-9, etc, etc

Good to know that's why I thought it was more worth while to ask before putting the time into getting all my test benches back up and going :)

I used to play with some of the highest end kit (Redlines, Tracers, BallistiX, Hypers) and to be completely honest the little gains I got weren't worth the troubles I had getting each kit running perfect across all platforms.
I've delegated my RAM to being just that, RAM cheap and simple stuff that isn't run at its limit.

The only Time beyond Benchmarks have I seen RAM Do something different was for IGPU platforms. It actually made a difference.

Is this true for all platforms though? I know with my old AM2 and 775 builds ram was ram but when it came to our last builds at work the FM1 systems we found they had almost a 10% fps increase in games from 1333 to 1866.

I am almost now wanting to do this just for the the purpose of knowing with modern setups if this will truly make a worth while change as with old systems I agree it was very pointless. hmmm I have some thinking to do haha

The FPS drop would have to do with the integrated GPU would be my guess.

Depends on the application. I remember when I used to play wow. Cas timings and clock speeds were yielding non negligible effects in performance using my 6800 GTX sli setup. Currently I don't see a major diff in skyrim/bf3/shogun2 but I have not benchmarked, this is just my perception.

I think now the main goal is just to have stable memory, and at least (and at most for most users) 8 gig of it.

I bought ripjaws because I knew I would be overclocking with a locked multiplier (makes your memory overclock too), otherwise I might have just gone with kingston value ram.
