ocz and/or crucial ballstics receipts
 

bought 2 4gig kits of both lost my receipts wanted to try some benchmarking :angry2:. I sold my system and now i cant find my reciept. bought it from canada computers looking for someone with a receipt with ram from there please and thank u:dots:

You dont need a receipt for ocz or crucial, just call them and they will rma.

tried they want a copy of the receipts, apparnetly people are sending them ram that they modify with ocz and crucial stuff to get free upgrades. the tech guy told me someone sent in a 1gig kingston ram with the crucial stickers lol.

I did an RMA with crucial last week and they didnt ask for receipt and I did 2 or 3 with OCZ a while back no prob. :doh:

OCZ does not require receipt on any product with a lifetime warranty, ever :punk:

I'd phone back and talk to someone else. Might have just been someone having a bad day. When I get an answer I don't like I just hang up and try again...when I get the answer I WANT, I ask for the customer support case number :whistle:.

got contacted they do want the receipt please help me u guys, cant keep loosing money didnt even get my cpu yet

That sucks, sorry there is nothing I can do to help. Best you can do is tell them they wont see any more business from you and buy from different manu next time.

I would be very surprised if a company like canada computers does not have an electronic file of your purchase.

If you bought online can you not recover a copy from your profile.

The canada computers in Kingston had an electronic file of my purchase. I had to RMA a sapphire ATI 1600xt, but I didn't have a receipt to show Sapphire's RMA company. So I went to the store, they pulled up the record and printed it off for me.

I would imagine the other stores would have a database too.
