My System Specs

Default Corsair Dominator 2x2GB PC2-8500

In my search for a good overclocking set of 2x2 GB for my Maximus Formula I have found some great results for these sticks over at XS. He's able to get 8GB of this stuff to 1104 MHz 5-5-5-13 @ 1.95v on a Maximus Formula!!!! XtremeSystems Forums - View Single Post - Corsair Dominator 2x2GB PC8500 DDR2

I like!

I ordered some today so I am thinking about doing a bunch of tests on this memory when I get it and comparing it to the Redlines and G.Skills which got such great results in reviews yet won't go more than a few GHz higher than their rated specs for me...

Does anyone know the difference between these two items:

QUAD2X4096-8500C5DF (http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets/Q...6-8500C5DF.pdf)

TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF (http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets/T...6-8500C5DF.pdf)

They are both 4GB in total and DDR2-1066, but the QUAD item is twice the price of the TWIN item (on NCIX).

Yes. The Quad is 4X1GB and the Twin is 2X2GB.

Right. I should have read the PDFs more carefully.
