Your EM's are doing 550?

Damn... mine don't seem to want to go much past 400, and I've heard similar reports from other people. I can pull the timings right down to 4-3-3-9 without any problems, but they just don't seem to want to go any faster, even at voltages as high as 2.4V. I'm beginning to think my BIOS might be lacking some crucial option.

My System Specs

Default

I have found out that the EMs and HPs have a SPD tRFC of 38. Loosen that to 50+ (52 in my case); this should allow you to reach the 500MHz mark. For some odd reason my DS3L overvolts my ram - where usually the board undervolts. Selecting 2.2V in the BIOS gives 2.3V actually.

I don't know if it may have an impact on oc'ing, but my EMs and HPs are 1Gb sticks, not 2Gb sticks. I don't own any 2Gb sticks, so I can't compare.

Forgot about that. When I originally tuned my memory, the BIOS wouldn't let me adjust the tRFC anywhere near that far, but the latest lets me push it all the way to 62... I'll have to take another stab at it soon.
